Train Ride down the Rio Tinto Valley
We took a ride on the train that was built by the Brits, to take the ore down to their own pier in Huelva.
Although the train was pulled by a fairly modern diesel engine, it was rickety and bumpy enough to feel like we had stepped back in time 50 years or more. At the end of the line, we were able to cross the tracks and walk down to the river itself.
A very memorable ride.
