Our next event is the shoot at the Olive Oil factory on the outskirts of Alhaurín el Grande on the 18th January.
The next home meeting is on 1st February at Venta la Recta.
The November shoot was at the car museum. There is an expanded display of fashion items, in addition to the cars. Three subjects were chosen and were judged at the January home meeting.
The Monochrome Photographer of the year, for 2018 was named as Jim McCarten. He scored the highest cumulative points for all the monochromes submitted during the year.

New for 2019 - there will be the opportunity for one-on-one mentoring in various aspects of photography, and one-on-one or small groups to do specialised shoots. For more info click here
On the 22nd March last year, we hosted the annual inter-club photo”Battle”. This year we finished a very close second to the Costa Camera Club, Nerja, who were the worthy winners. You can see all the entries and scores here The next “battle” will be held on the 19th March 2019 in Benalmadena.
Shutterbugs Photographic Group, based in Alhaurín el Grande, is a group of amateur photo enthusiasts living in and around the Guadalhorce Valley, Andalucia, Spain.
The group is open to photographers of all skills, from beginner to advanced. Help is available to beginners. Private one on one lessons/workshops are available.
The group generally meets on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month, the first meeting is indoors and the second is an outside photo shoot at a selected location, normally with two particular subjects chosen. The assignment is for each member to present two photos for judging. Please check on the Calendar for the latest dates and meetings.
